I just finished reading. I loved it and yet felt so emotional with everything that happened. I had no idea how this story would break my heart in so many places. My dad was killed in a car accident my freshman year of high school and when Quinn's dad died at the end of the first book I thought it was sad. Then in this book when they had the conversation and he left to get Chinese and never came home and the scene with the police just got to me completely. I completely understood the decision to stay close to home. I was happy Quinn and Leo were back together and Nate was good. Then meeting Zelda and Tuck .We need a book about them to get the whole story we need to know about their real first meeting. Now finding out Nate does not have long to live. So Nate asks Quinn for something she cannot refuse yet it breaks her heart. Then Matt makes a fateful decision . I just hope Tate helps Gia heal and find love . Cannot wait for the third book Quinn and Leo have to have the happy Love story but then we will have to say bye to Nate . So September I know I will stock up on tissue's and wine. Is it September yet? Hanging By A Moment is book 2 in a 3 book series. This book finds our main characters, Quinn, Leo and Nate, graduating from high school and moving on to college. They deal with some tough situations and make new friends, but our trio stay close. As I read this book, I couldn't help but think what I would do in some of these situations. I can't wait to see where this story goes.
This author can make the characters come alive. I read the first book and plan to read the third book. It's hard because each main character is so likable. You want them all to be happy! It's going to be interesting to see how book three brings everything together!
I loved this book and can understand exactly why the characters did what they did. I actually think I would do exactly what Quinn did. It is wrong though and Nate really shouldn't have asked her. He was being incredibly selfish. I suppose if you were on a limited time frame you probably would be selfish but it still doesn't make it right. Can't wait for the next book. It is due out on my birthday. What a present.
Another great book in this series! What happens when you have a chance at your dreams but you have to hurt the ones you love to get it.This book makes you feels like you are friends with all the characters. You can identify with everything happening. It shows you that sometimes no matter how much you love someone they may not always be there, so you better make sure you tell them how you feel.
The minor characters also get your attention and they make you want to know more about them. I had ideas in my head thinking about what their stories are going to be. Can't wait for the next book!
I loved the book! I've read it twice, talk about getting your money's worth. I love the author's ability to bring full dimensional characters to life. This book is hard to put down and when you walk away from the story the characters are still with you. The theme is family importance and true friendship since birth. It is about loving in the fullest degree and life. You will fall in love with the relationship between two soulmates, Quinn and Leo. I know I did! I am looking forward to more of the story with my favorite characters and excited to fall in love with some of the secondary characters in this story as well. Kudos to Mrs. Kandle and this wonderful read! Take it to the beach and enjoy some time for yourself as you fall into their world!
I read this in a single day & it really and truly was only because I couldn't put it down! The first book to this series was amazing and the second is even more than that ( I didn't think that was possible.) Tawdra Kandle is definitely the author that changed my mind about love stories and she never disappoints. This Genre isn't normally a go to for me, but I can promise if she has written something I will read it. There is so much raw emotion that goes into her writing style and the stories that she creates will literally have you in awe as a reader. While reading this, I had so many emotions swirling around that I actually found myself wondering how she had felt while writing this book. I don't like to give away any spoilers in my reviews, but WOW the decisions that Quinn, Leo, and Nate had to make in this book! I will be very anxiously awaiting the release of the 3rd book in the series. September please come quickly!
Tawdra does it again. I must say that this book is not as much of an emotional rollercoaster as book 1 but my feelings for the characters continued to evolve. Leo tries to have it all but falls short when he and Quinn are struggling with feeling secure in their relationship. Quinn doesn't want to come second, I feel for her and yet she seems to give up too easily on Leo and yet is always a champion for Nate. Nate although he suffered from a degenerative disease and I understood his love for Quinn, I found myself angry with both of them. Quinn for her naivety when it came to Nate and him for his selfishness in using his disease to manipulate others and get what he wants. I liked this book and look forward to the conclusion of the the trilogy with Days Of You and Me.
